Renua Energy Announces Completion of Fifth New York State Travel Plaza EV Charging Station Project
Clifton Park, NY – 13-October-2025 – Renua Energy, a leading provider of clean energy infrastructure solutions, is proud to announce the successful completion of the fifth of eight awarded Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station projects across New York State's Thruway system. This milestone is part of the company's ongoing efforts to support the transition to clean, sustainable energy and meet the growing demand for EV infrastructure.
The project involved the installation of two high-capacity 400kW Alpitronic DC fast chargers (DCFC), state-of-the-art switchgear, a new transformer, and a significant upgrade to the existing travel plaza transformer. These additions will enable faster charging times for drivers, significantly enhancing the convenience and accessibility of electric vehicle charging on one of the busiest transportation corridors in the state.
