Saratoga State Park - July 11, 2025 - Renua Energy completed the installation of two photovoltaic (PV) arrays on the Columbia and Orenda pavilions at the Saratoga State Park. In total, the project involved 90 Q-cell panels with solar edge optimizers and 3 solar edge inverters.

"From permitting and private locates to rack, panel, and inverter installation, these two pavilions were completed on time and within budget," explained Renua's founder and president, Dave Byrne.

As the master electrician on the team, Renua's Jim Pyenta explained the process: "We handled the full solar installation from start to finish. We took care of everything from excavating, backfill, reseeding, concrete walkway, inverters and solar module installation. We ensured that every conduit, connection, and wire run was done clean and to code — built right the first time."

As Renua's Quality Assurance leader, Jim also described the pride his team took in every detail: "From tight runs to solid wiring, to painting the conduits to match existing pavilion colors, we delivered a productive system that looks great and is built to last."

"This project was in the public eye from beginning to end and was completed largely during winter months and on a tight timeline. I'm really pleased with how our team performed and our partners at in the New York State Department of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation were terrific to work with," Byrne concluded.

Renua Energy has also completed several residential PV installations and BESS (battery energy storage system) installations.
