Renua Energy worked with Qmerit and Kia Motors to install a brand new ConnectDER at a home in Starksboro, VT as featured in the State of Charge Podcast with Tom Moloughney.

ConnectDER is a meter socket adapter (MSA) for 100A and 125A services that allows the connection of either solar or an EV Charger. This can help avoid costly service and/or panel upgrades and can significantly reduce installation time and cost.

Renua's crew of Jim and Brandon can be seen starting at the 22:14 mark in the podcast ... and boy do they work FAST!

Jutta joined the Renua team about three years ago and has had a huge impact for our customers, assisting them in their development of solar projects in New York State. Despite unique challenges in our state, she has a successful track record of taking on the toughest community solar permitting opportunities and seeing them through final approvals--even if it takes two to three years! Renua awarded Jutta the coveted annual "Resilience Award" in 2023 for just that reason. With an architectural and construction background, she has exceptional attention to detail and is able to lead complex design efforts and work through numerous site constraints in order to bring our customers' project visions to reality. We're immensely grateful for Jutta's efforts over the past three years and will continue to cheer her on as she pushes through obstacles to advance our customers' community solar projects across New York State!
